Who is behind it

Ask Margaret is run by HTELLE LLC, a small company in Miami, Florida. We make videos, free checklists and low-priced guides for people over 60 and for the families who help them.

Margaret is an AI presenter

Margaret is not a real person. She is an AI presenter: her face and voice are generated. We say so on this site, in our videos and in our guides. She does not have a personal history, and we never write as though she has had experiences she has not.

A person reviews everything

Every video and every guide is reviewed by a person before it goes out. The AI helps us draft and present. A person decides what is published.

How we check numbers

• We read the figure on an official page, such as Medicare.gov, the IRS or a state agency, and we link to it.
• We put the date next to it. Limits and rules change, so "as of" matters.
• Where we could not confirm something on an official page, we say so or leave it out.
• Examples are labeled as examples. A made-up example is never presented as an official figure.
• We do not use figures for a future year until the agency has published them.
