This policy explains what HTELLE LLC ("we", "us"), which runs Ask Margaret at askmargaret.org, collects and how we use it. We try to collect as little as we can.

What we collect

  • What you give us. When you sign up for the free checklist or the Monday letter, we collect your email address and, if the form asks, your name. When you buy a guide, our checkout and payment processor collect your name, email and payment details. We do not see or store your full card number.
  • If you contact us. Your messages, and for phone calls to our support line, a record of the call so that a person can follow up.
  • Basic technical data. Like most sites, our web server and our form and email providers may log your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.

How we use it

  • To send your checklist, the Monday letter and anything you ask for.
  • To deliver and support the guides you buy, and to process refunds.
  • To keep the site secure and working, and to answer questions.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for other companies' advertising.

Who helps us

We use service providers to run the site: for example, a form, email and checkout platform, a payment processor, and hosting. They may handle your information only to do their work for us.

Email

You can unsubscribe from any email with the link at the bottom, or by emailing support@askmargaret.org. Receipts and messages about an order may still be sent.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies. Our embedded form and checkout providers may set cookies they need to work.

Keeping your information

We keep your information as long as you are subscribed or as long as we need it for records such as receipts, taxes and refunds. You can ask us to delete your information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email support@askmargaret.org. Depending on where you live, such as California, you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.

Safety tip

We will never ask for your Social Security number, Medicare number or bank login. If someone who says they are from Ask Margaret asks for those, do not share them, and tell us.

Children

This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
